Since the first edition in 2008, the Kids Licensing Forum - conceived as a meeting place for major licensors and licensing agents to display their latest products on the content market for children and young adults - has become the main event based in Italy on licensing business. 

At its first edition as a trade fari in 2010, the Kids Licensing Forum has registered 30 exhibitor from Italy and abroad and more than 600 licensig companies (licensees, agents and buyers) as visitors of the new pavilion at the Bologna Fairground. With 15 events and 6 workshops over the days, handling the most various themes on licensing - organized in conjuction with Licensing Italia - the Forum proved to be one of the leading markets for buying and selling licenses. 

Following this growing success, the forum will become in 2011 a genuine tradeshow - the Bologna Licensing Trade Fair - open to all the licensing categories (entertainment, fashion, brand and sport), standing as as one of the major European licensing appointments.

Bologna Licensing Trade Fair is the only trade event held in Italy promoted by LIMA, with special fees and services for all the LIMA members.
